Our name ‘Sprul’ has genesis in Tibetan literature which means imaginary friend that is sentient and still autonomous

The Opportunity

Sprul utilizes the power of communities to author and publish focused high quality content for high demand subjects. Authors can choose to contribute any number of book chapters on open topics (called ‘Pods’) that go through a ‘double blind’ community review before being accepted for publishing. Published chapters are directed to our educator community to compose into their curriculums and recommend to students. We commission topics to our author community based on actual demand from educators increasing the relevance of the content you author multifold for our student consumers.

Sprul completely disrupts the traditional model of book publishing that is characterized by meager royalty distribution to authors among other inefficiencies. Our patent pending community driven publishing model allows us to drastically improve the author’s royalty, paying up to 60% of purchase price of the book chapters they contribute.
